You Act Like You Are 23 Years Old

You are a twentysomething at heart. You feel like an adult, and you're optimistic about life.
You feel excited about what's to come... love, work, and new experiences.

You're still figuring out your place in the world and how you want your life to shape up.
The world is full of possibilities, and you can't wait to explore many of them.

You Are 62% Pure

You're pretty pure, and you have no plans on changing that.
You do have a devilish side though... and it will probably get the better of you.

New post: Under construction

Sorry folks im feeling the stress and pressure of upper six now, so posting is tremendously effected. The of my next post (Birth of a typical Malaysian driver) is about done, pray tell that it be released tomorrow.

Things to look forward tomorrow:
1)Morning assembly
2)Jia Hui is finally feeling better
3)Classmates,prefects and schoolmates!

Class Reviews!

Favorite subject at the moment:
Physics: Its extra nap time! We are still in chapter 2(there are 32) after 8 months! On the bright side there is no homework! Woohoo!
Plus Mr.Ng is our class teacher!

Most relaxed subject
Pengajian Am: Love essays! Scored a 20/25 for the 1st time in my life! Enjoy cathing up with friends as we finish up with class work! Pn.Ashikin is a dear. Pity she is no longer our class teacher :(

Most blur class:
Maths: Just starring at the black board trying to take in all the funny symbols. It seems my math teacher dosnt speak English. At least the variant I do. Well its easier for me to look at the book and learn it my self.(like I did in form 5)

Most interesting class:
Bio: Sexual Reproduction of a tape worm. That in all explains it self. Ms.Tong rocks. Love bug buying, ahem ,catching!

Most tension class:
Chem: Pn.Tiong is as unpredictable as a volcano ready to erupt. It kinda depends on her hormonal levels i guess. So now keeping a calender of her emo days to try to figure out her cycle.
Also wins award for most homework. On top of that winner of best scolding.

Class most best at
Muet:A breeze through. Give the impression that im doing work, eg.I do it on the spot.Work done so far= 0
Teacher has the impression im a super genius at english. I just go there and crap. Good stress relief.

Well thats that.Gotta finish of
1)Maths,Bio and chem homework
2)Muet articles,grammar,sentences and essays
3)Other assorted homework. Thank god for physics!

Yay another day to look forward to!

My 100th post and life sure seems hectic!

Wow id never thought id reach 100th posts yet at the rate this blog has been running at, it seems inevitable.

1st I would like to apologize for this weeks drought on posts but it seems like last years Upper sixes were right. You have no life in upper six.

Its only the 1st week yet we are shoved down with mountains of work, have a ton of revising to do and not to mention I'm still in chapter 2 in physics when they are 32 all together. (Thanks Mr.Ng you the best)

Yup I have lots of time to blog

Not to mention

1)Prefects duties
I have to spend my morning every school day getting my prefects to actually do their jobs properly, plan this, plan that scold this scold that. Then there is recess, more people to shout at and to organize. Thank goodness for my BOD members. Thanks a bunch.

2)House Practice
Ive been elected the GREEN house vice captain which I have been expecting.(being in green house not the vice captain). Somehow ive been associated with the colour green all my life, in RMC my uniform was green, in Samad my uniform is green not to mention green is my favorite colourm its inevitable that I end up in green house. Well on the bright side Clam is my secretary. Muahahahaha. I can make him do all the work!

I gotta help out in the road run, organize the try outs,Sports day and marching(did I mention I have to take the prefects marching as well? UGHH)

3)Form 6 society
Committee member of the form 6 society. No doubt we have something up we gotta plan. Can wait for the lower sixes come in. Can bully them till they cry.

4)Juniors
Got the wardens and the soon to be probationers to mess around with. Muahahahahaha

5)Ed board
I have to write articles. Lots and lots of them.

6)Cf
I have to sing and worship ye lord

I have also become the family driver fetching my brothers here there and everywhere! This 1 week I have driven 500km++

Not to mention the jams......

Well thats my life for now. Its crazy but strangely FUN!

So wish me luck(and a few anti-depressants)

Its gonna be a long year.....

Public Service Post: Complaints on Prefectorial Board answered

Caution: This Is a Public Service post = not usual post=boring.....

Nothing is perfect and I admit that the current prefectorial board is nowhere near it yet. In line with the governments drive to create more transparency in all public service sectors, I will field any complaints whatsoever and explain in detail right here for everyone to see to clear up any misconceptions there are concerning this years prefectorial board.

The reason is to enable to provide quality service to all and further improve the prefects contributions to the order of the school while maintaining optimum student satisfaction.

This week I will answer some complaints made by Tzu Ting the best I can. (please read the post linked here first to better understand the answers that I am fielding now.

New rules

New rules were implemented because we got a new headmistress. Her last school was in Subang Jaya. Ask most students from Subang (like Vincent) and you will see that they have more 'control freak' policies compared to Samad.

Take for instance, they have CCTVs that monitor the students every move and they banned certain clubs because it was deemed too 'open'.

In other words, we have it easy.

She is bringing her style of administration here. As the head prefect, I have to implement whatever policies that she drafts like the current 'No more morning assembly' one.

1.No more morning assembly

Daily morning assemblies eat up too much precious time better used teching. The students often end up in the class after 7.45am.

Another reason is to get the teachers/substitute teachers to come into the class early. Over the last few months the teachers have been coming in late for classes as there was no principal. In any school administration, teachers discipline not only students, has to be taken into account.

2.No more Co-curriculum announcements

You cant make any more announcements during the only morning assembly one which is on Monday as it makes the current notice boards redundant. The whole idea is to get the students to read it.

One way to get the word across is to use your form reps. The whole assembly thing in the eyes of our new principle is seen as a big waste of time as it eats up valuable time better used teaching.

If you have a free period as your first period it is the duty of the class teacher to sit in your class. If the class teacher is not available during that period, negotiate with another teacher to come into your class.

Note: This is a temporary measure. I will consult with Pn.Maha on this matter.

3.Sitting when eating during recess

During recess its advisable to seat and eat as it frees up the walk way as to not inconvenience other people. We have to consider the needs of the silent majority not only the outspoken minority. Recent checks have revealed that there is always adequate seating areas. Its just they are not used.

Please cooperate and everything will be fine. What is so hard about sitting down? If they are any problems with the prefects eg: they are unreasonable, just complain personally to me.Don't drag the prefect to see Pn.Maha she will definitely defend the prefect (unless its super clear the prefect is in the wrong.)

4.Bringing sweets or any junk food to class

Its not the culture in Subang or any other school to bring sweets and other junk food into class. In line with the minister of educations student health policy we have been directed to confiscate,if found any food stuffs brought to class not deemed to be recess rations. Eg: Snacks such as sweets, junk food etc

Its also rude to eat in class when there are teachers around. Even with no teachers around, eating In class creates mess.Im not saying that its you, but there are many irresponsible people out there. We cannot implement one rule then exclude a certain group.Thats nepotism. We have to be fair and treat all students as equals.

There are exceptions though such as class parties where teachers approval is given.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused to your part.We are just following orders and in that doing our duties as school prefects.

5. Everyone going back at 1.50pm

As far as I know, If they haven't changed your timetable and that it ends at 1.10pm you can go back home as its the schools fault for mis-managing the schedule. But if your time-table is re-shuffled to 1.50pm you obviously have to stay back until your classes end.

Thats that. I hope that clears up any reasonable doubt or questions that were running through your mind. If there are any further questions please do not be afraid to ask. If requested, Identities of the complainer can be withheld.

I hope in by doing this I can increase the transparency of the current prefectorial board to all students.

Back to school!

Today was the start of school for me again. (Sighs)

Changes from last year:

1) Finally got my car!
It’s a Viva sports edition (manual drive) I will be sending my brothers to school and back. Finally mobile! Lolz

2) New principle
She totally revamped the morning protocol. No more morning assembly. The students now line up in front of the class straight away. Well I guess it’s up to me and the prefectorial board to deal with the mess associated with change which is yet to come!

3) I’m in upper six
Looks like I will no longer have a life for the rest of the year... :( With the STPM year its constant MUG! MUG! MUG!

4) New class teacher
Guess who it is? The lovable MR.NG. Enough reason to drop physics all together. We finished lower six at chapter 2. There are 36 chapters in physics. Die................

What has not changed

1)Pn.Tiong is still scary. She still gives tonnes of homework!

2)I’m still in Samad

3)I still bring nothing to school

4)Still a bachelor

5)My name is still Yie Hahn

Well love to type more but got WORK!WORK!WORK!

Happy Schooling!
